Is it ethical and moral to work for church whose teachings are not respected and promoted? Over 20 yrs. ago I’ve asked the same question then GGSDA pastor Margo Pitrone who was universalist, who later left our church, became pastor in universalist church and several years later committed suicide. Be careful dear Tony. We love and pray for you.

Tony, I was just informed in church that you are leaving GGSDA. I am very sorry about this. I enjoy your understanding of God and your efforts for communicating God’s love to people who are not the traditional focus of SDA evangelistic efforts. As a mother of a gay young man and a buddhist bisexual girl, I appreciate your ministry.
I don’t think some people get it. GOD reaches out to us where we are, and we in turn should be reaching where are kids are. I just wanted my kids to know how important it would be to them to save themselves for that special person in life, like GOD intended. So many have regretted because no one told them, no one told them how life would change for them if they had sex before marriage, about the hurt, and even the lose they may encounter. So what we need to do is read for ourselves, study for ourselves, and pray that GOD would unlighted the truth HE wants us to have. Not just criticize those that have a different idea, but take that idea to the Word and find out for ourselves. It’s those that don’t get the info, the knowledge they need to just participate in a conversation, or to ask questions. I wonder what JESUS would say? I know HE wouldn’t just shut a person down, but discuss ideas, or questions, and remind us that we are of HIS family, and we should treat HIS family with love and respect. Remember that our ethical and moral relationships should be going in a vertical motion (you and GOD), so that love, kindness, and respect will automatically move in a horizontal motion (you and everyone else).
I believed that not being in A sexual relationship or living together before marriage would make my marriage commitment last forever.. Unfortunately to my dismay my husband which i thought i knew has asked me to leave… I foud out that all the ways my parents taught me ,dont have sex untill you’re married , dont live with him untill he professes his love to you ,Well that did not work .I did all that and more .I thought it was the right thing to do only to find out that my husband wanted to continue his life-style without boundaries. A women to take care of his children ,a womem that he could confide in ,a women to have lunch with ,a women to get him work opportunities ,a women to enjoy his love for the beach, a women to bed. Pastor Tony ,you are so right!tThere is nothing in the Bible that says you should not have sex or live with a potential Husband to make sure he is the One . Its time that women should not be potreyed as prostitutes, sinful ,adulteress and dispensable or live stock bought and sold. I found out more of who my husband was when living with him 24/7. If i would have lived with him prior to marriage i would have never married him and would have never bedded or committed. Worse part i gave him my heart.. I wanted to give my heart to a Honest , honorable, monogamous man instead.Peace Hormony to you . Your are AMAZING and wish the best for you and your beautiful supportive family ..
I am so sorry for pain you must be experiencing — I can’t imagine that has been easy. I am so happy that you understood the point in the podcast that women are not to be valued or devalued based on their sexual activity and that the Bible promotes the worthiness of mankind and little to say to the discussion of premarital sex that our culture is currently debating. You are an incredible person with good gifts to share with the world. I hope that you will find a new community that is open and accepting of you and the person you continue becoming.
