When you step away from the comfortable, when you bravely step away from home there is a beautiful moment that takes place. There’s this brilliant moment when others begin walking that journey with you. Joseph Campbell calls this step the “Assistance” step when the hero is accompanied by traveling friends. I would argue for each of us this is crucial in order for us to experience victory on our journeys; we need friends.
